3.4 Network Settings

The SW550X series has the ability for dual connections, i.e., WLAN and LAN at the same time.

It can also get IP information automatically from a DHCP server as well, just check “Obtain an

IP Address Automatically” for it; or enter the values manually if known.

Gratuitous ARP – Enable to periodically send out an ARP response automatically to

announce that SW550X is in the network. The frequency in minutes could be set in the nearby

box.

Note that under the Wireless Client mode, you will see two separate interfaces, LAN and

WLAN. You need to configure them separately into different subnets and choose the interface

that should be the Default Gateway (Fig. 3. 7).
